InPost unveils same day parcel delivery to thousands of parcel machines in Poland with no additional charges

InPost S.A., the leading European e-commerce delivery platform, has unveiled an ambitious initiative to deliver parcels on the day of dispatch in a further 18 cities in Poland, without any additional charges. Residents of Warsaw and Łódź, where even 3/4 of packages are delivered to InPost parcel machines on the same day, have already taken advantage of this convenient, free-of-charge initiative. Now, the residents of Cracow, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Szczecin, Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Białystok, Olszyn, Katowice, Sosnowiec, Gliwice, Częstochowa, Bielsko-Biała, Radom, Lublin and Rzeszów will all have access to InPost’s industry-leading, same day delivery service.

As part of this new initiative, parcels sent to locations within the same city which reach an InPost distribution centre by 4:00 pm, are delivered to InPost’s parcel machines on the day of shipping. InPost provide this new feature at no extra charge and it can be enjoyed by customers in the Polish cities cited above. “We see same day delivery for parcels sent within the same city not only as an innovative new initiative, but as part of our broader parcel revolution. In Warsaw and Łódź, the first two cities taking part in this initiative, we deliver even 3/4 of our shipments on the same day. Given the success of same day delivery in these two cities, we are eager to expand this unique service into another 18 cities in Poland. We aim to provide our customers with the best service possible, free-of-charge, which is why customers who do their shopping in the morning can collect their parcels on the same day if they are within the same city. The delivery of parcels to InPost parcel machines on the day of dispatch is possible thanks to an extensive investment program which InPost has been conducting in recent years. It involves dozens of new, fully automated branches, the rollout of a few thousand new InPost parcel machines throughout Poland each year, thousands of vehicles, including electric ones, and considerable investment in logistics and IT infrastructure.
