InPost launches autonomous Parcel Lockers
The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry in Europe, is introducing a new model of Paczkomat® machine. The innovative solution allows the machines to be erected regardless of the availability of the electricity grid, thanks to their photovoltaic panels and energy storage. The pilot will be carried out in Gdansk and Krakow, as well as in European markets—the UK, Italy, and France.
APM No. 7000 in the UK!
InPost Group has expanded its locker network in the UK to 7000 locations, a 40% growth compared to March last year.
The UK market for out-of-home delivery is very promising, and we are determined to be the leading player, handling the most significant number of e-commerce parcels.
In 2023, InPost UK lockers and PUDO (Pick-Up/Drop-Off) points delivered 46,5 million parcels. In the first quarter of 2024, we saw a 147% increase in parcel volume from the same period last year.
